SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (IT PLATFORM)

Eesti Energia, also known as Enefit, is an innovative international energy group. Our digital ambition is the radical improvement of the energy industry through IT and technology.

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to maintain and develop our diverse IT platform and software development infrastructure for around 100 of our in-house software engineers.

You will find challenges in:

  • Creating, operating, and improving IT infrastructure environments using a sensible mix of cloud and on-premises technologies.
  • Creating, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, environments, and internal tools.
  • Being the first point of technical escalation for issues with development infrastructure.
  • Automating everything – CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure orchestration, monitoring etc.
  • Participating in IT infrastructure architecture and improvement discussions.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Experience with Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience with any of: Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • Experience with Go, Python, Groovy (Jenkins Pipelines), or desire to learn them.
  • Experience in working with cloud infrastructure and their APIs, preferably Azure.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures.
  • Ability to implement tasks independently and ability to suggest improvements.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Where? In any of our offices (Tallinn, Tartu, Jõhvi, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, Helsinki) or fully remotely from any of our home markets (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland).
