Martti Kork becomes the new Chairman of the Management Board at Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus
Beginning in April, the position of Chairman of the Management Board at Eesti Energia's subsidiary Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus will be taken up by Martti Kork, employed as Sales Director and Management Board Member at the company for the past two years. He will continue the work of the company's current long-serving Chairman of the Board, Rein Ungert, who will be leaving Eesti Energia at the end of March by mutual agreement.
"The development of the company Under Rein Ungert's leadership has been impressive. Both the complexity and the quantity of projects have grown. Today, Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus is a company generating a decent profit, and that is Rein Ungert's doing," said Harri Mikk, Member of the Management Board and Director of the Fuels Business Division, commending what Rein Ungert has done.
"Taking the development of the company further, however, requires a person with international professional experience. Martti Kork has this experience, as well as a clear vision of the company's future," said Harri Mikk. According to Harri Mikk, it is very important that the new executive emerged from within the company.
According to Martti Kork, his objective will be to make Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus even more client oriented and to lay a greater emphasis in the future on comprehensive project solutions that create added value.
Before joining Eesti Energia, Martti Kork held executive positions at international companies like Nokia and LG Electronics. He has studied international business administration at Audentes School and economic and business management at the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
In addition to Martti Kork, the Management Board of Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus will include Otto-Richard Pukk who is in charge of construction and installation. In the future, a third Member of the Management Board will be added, tasked with the management of maintenance.
Eesti Energia Tehnoloogiatööstus, operating internationally under the trade mark of Enefit, offers a wide range of competitive technological project solutions in energy and industry.
