Extraordinary General Meeting of Eesti Energia held on 21 September 2011 passed the resolution subject to which Janek Parkman, a member of its Supervisory Council, was recalled. Extraordinary General Meeting appointed Märt Vooglaid as the new member of the Supervisory Council.

Märt Vooglaid earlier experiences include management of different international real estate projects. In addition, he has held managerial positions in various manufacturing entities including Kalev, Rakvere Lihakombinaat and Tallinna Sadam. Mr. Vooglaid is the member of Reformierakond (Reform Party).
