During the August reporting period more than 155,000 customers gave their meter readings using the self-service facility. The number of customers choosing the self-service option has greatly increased in recent months. While about 100,000 customers a month reported their meter readings through the self-service facility in the winter and spring of this year, in the summer the number of customers each month exceeded 150,000.
