Eesti Energia has signed a new loan agreement with European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 100 million euros to finance investment into distribution network. Maximum tenor of the debt facility is ten years.

Eesti Energia and European Investment Bank share a long history of co-operation and EIB remains a lender of strategic importance to the Group. In 2004-11, Eesti Energia and EIB have signed four loan agreements in total amounting to 325 million euros to fund electricity network and power generation investments.
