Electricity price in Estonia declined by 14,2% in May, averaging at 37,14 €/MWh. In Finland, price decreased by 14,9% compared to April, reaching 37,35 €/MWh. ELE price area average price was 39,76 €/MWh, which was 10% less than in April. Electricity price in Lithuania decreased by 4,7% to 42,72 €/MWh.

The levels of hydro reservoirs slightly above normal. Crude oil end of month closing price turned out to 100.4 $/bbl. Carbon permits price monthly increase was 27%. German 2014 base energy contract price level remained similar to April. Coal price continuously decreasing because of the oversupply.
