    The law requires, if you are a homeowner that an initial audit is performed prior to the operation of the electrical system. Regular audits are performed every 3 to 15 years, depending on the type of building:

  • Type I electrical installation (buildings with a risk of explosion or major accident and vital hospital premises) - every 5 years;
  • Type II electrical installations (apartment associations, offices, production buildings, medical institutions, etc., the rating current of the main fuse exceeds 35 A) - every 10 years;
  • Type III electrical installations (other buildings with a rating current of less than 35 A in the main fuse) - every 15 years.
  • An electrical installation built or rebuilt prior to the year 2000 must be regularly audited with the following frequency:

  • Type I electrical installation every 3 years;
  • Type II electrical installation every 5 years;
  • Type II electrical installation every 10 years.
  • Our specialists perform the following tasks during the audit:

  • Visual inspection of the electrical system to assess whether the electrical installation has been constructed according to the design and whether it complies with the normative documents and the installation or operating instructions specified by the producer of the electrical equipment. Our technicians also make sure that the electrical system is safe to use.
  • Document review, during which a random assessment is made of whether everything meets the requirements. The electrical system auditor may, in certain cases, evaluate the documentation in more detail and ask you for additional information.
  • Performing control calculations and evaluating measurement and test results. All measurements and tests are performed by an accredited or laboratory competent according to the Metrology Act.
