Enefit app privacy policy

  1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    1. Enefit AS mobile application can be used by the household and business customers of Enefit AS, as well as persons authorised by such customers (hereinafter: the user), who is a registered e-service user (www.energia.ee). The application is owned by Enefit AS.
    2. The application can be downloaded for free from the App Store and Google Play.
    3. The application allows the user to obtain information about their contracts and electricity consumption at their points of consumption by year, month, week, day and hour, to view the contact details of Enefit AS and the price information of the Nord Pool Spot electricity exchange, and to manage their notifications and invoices received.
    4. The application works over an internet connection such as mobile data or Wi-Fi. The fee for the user's data connection is specified in the agreement concluded between the user and their mobile operator.
    5. In order to use the application, the user must agree to the terms and conditions of the mobile application.
    6. Enefit AS has the right to unilaterally change the application or its terms of use at any time. In case of changes to the terms of use, the user must agree to terms of use of the application again in order to use it.
  2. PERSONAL DATA

    1. By agreeing to the terms of use of the application, the user gives their consent to Enefit AS to process personal data in the user's electricity contract and/or Elektrilevi network contract to enable the functionality of the application.
    2. Personal data is processed in accordance with the principles of customer data processing of Enefit. More information about the principles of customer data processing is available at: https://public-docs.enefit.ee/kliendiandmete-tootlemise-pohimotted-eng.pdf
    3. Enefit AS has the right to make offers to the user for the conclusion of an electricity contract, to conduct customer satisfaction surveys and to send other notices about the performance of their current electricity contract.
    4. Enefit AS does not forward the data received through the application to third parties.
  3. TERMS OF USE

    1. In order to use the application, the user must verify their identity, using Mobile-ID or their personal identification code and a reference number. By signing in to the application, the user confirms their identity. Business customers and their authorised persons can verify their identity only with Mobile-ID.
    2. The application stores the data entered to identify the user for up to 190 days. The data will be deleted from the application upon signing out via the appropriate button or automatically after 190 days.
    3. Upon verification of identity with Mobile-ID, the user will be able to view all their household customer contracts and points of consumption in the application. Upon verification with a personal identification code and a reference number, the user will only be able to view the contracts of the points of consumption whose reference number was used to verify the identity.
  4. CONSUMPTION DATA

    1. The application allows the user to monitor consumption data submitted to the data exchange platform by the network operator.
    2. The network operator submits information about the quantities of electricity consumed to the data platform in accordance with the Grid Code. There may be interruptions in the submission of data, which may cause the data displayed in the application to be temporarily out of date.
    3. Consumption data includes only the active energy consumed, ie it does not include reactive energy or the production of active/reactive energy.
    4. The application displays the user's consumption data by day and hour, as well as summarised hourly and daily consumption.
    5. The consumption data displayed depends on the electricity package selected by the user. More information about electricity packages is available on the electricity supplier's website: www.energia.ee/en/elektripaketid.
    6. In the event of discrepancies between consumption data displayed in the application and on the invoice, the quantity indicated on the invoice is deemed correct.
    7. The electricity exchange price information originates from Nord Pool Spot (NPS). VAT and the customer margin are added to all NPS hourly prices displayed in the application. Enefit AS is not responsible for the data of NPS, nor for interruptions or disruptions in the transmission of the data, as a result of which the displayed data may not be complete.
