Nearly a third of Eesti Energia's customers have chosen an electricity package based on exchange prices, the remaining two thirds have fixed the price. The majority of customers who have chosen the exchange price package are in the 40-49 age group. Older customers mostly secure the price of electricity.

Fixed

The Fixed Package sets your electricity prices for 6-36 months and is not affected by fluctuations in the electricity market. When you buy electricity at a fixed price, you know exactly how much every consumed kilowatt-hour costs and you can plan your monthly expenses.

Fixed Plus

The Fixed Plus fixes the price of electricity for 60 months and the agreed price never changes during that time. Exchange

The Exchange Package is suitable for consumers willing to take risks to benefit from cheap price periods on the power exchange, but who are also ready for price hikes. When buying electricity at exchange prices, you can manage your costs by adjusting your consumption to cheaper hours. A good assistant for those using the Exchange Package is Eesti Energia's mobile app that allows you to monitor the exchange price of electricity and make consumption decisions accordingly.

Green Energy
If you have decided in favour of either Fixed or Exchange, you should also think about the footprint of your electricity consumption. By adding Green Energy to these packages, you will be consuming electricity from renewable sources only, produced by us or bought from other European electricity producers. The bigger the number of Green Energy customers, the greater the share of renewable energy in electricity generation and the less carbon dioxide emitted. Green Energy has so far been chosen by nearly 35,000 customers.
