Leasing conditions

Eesti Energia offers the possibility to use instalment payments for paying for solar energy solutions, heat pumps, as well as electricity and gas works, as well as equipment.

Installment payments can be used for deferring payment for work and equipment for up to ten years. The interest rate of the leasing contract depends on the amount of the contract and is starting from 12.5% per annum, calculated on the basis of the monthly remainder of the contract. There are no additional costs and obligations arising from the contract. The premature termination of the contract thereby also does not bring any additional costs.

All physical persons permanently residing in Estonia aged 20-75 are eligible to apply for leasing. The leasing applicant must have sufficient solvency for fulfilling the obligation and he/she must not have any valid payment defaults.

Leasing can be applied for, for paying for works and projects that have a cost from 300 to 25 000 Euros:

  • Down payment starting from 0 Euros;
  • Contract signing fee is 0 Euros;
  • Contract management fee is 0 Euros per month;
  • First instalment from 0%;
  • Contract period 4-120 months; ;
  • Contract interest starting from 7.9%;
  • Premature termination of the contract without additional charges.
  • The annual percentage rate of charge for leasing is 13.27% per annum according to the following sample conditions: the price of the contract item for immediate payment (net price) 15 000 Euros, credit amount 12 000 Euros, down payment 3000 Euros, contract period 36 months, fixed interest rate 12.5% per year, calculated based on the loan balance, contract fee 0 Euros, each month's instalment 398.98 Euros, total amount of credit and total of repayments 17 362.51 Euros. The creditor is Inbank AS. Please read the terms of the desired contract carefully and if necessary consult an expert prior to signing the contract.

    We can offer you leasing, if you are an at least 20 year old Estonian citizen or you have a residency permit, your monthly net income is at least 280 Euros and you correctly fulfil your financial obligations. The amount of leasing that we can offer to you depends on your monthly income and obligations.

    You can request an offer for leasing, when planning a solar power solution. In such a case:

  • Fill in on the Eesti Energia website in the solar panel calculator the data on your planned solar solution
  • Check the box to indicate that you would like to receive an offer for leasing
  • We will send to you, together with the solar power offer, also the offer for leasing
  • You can sign a contract exactly for the amount you need and if desired you can make the down payment
  • If you have already sent a request for a solar solution, but would now like to receive an offer also for leasing fill in the solar energy leasing application form.

    You can also request an offer for instalment payments, when you order electricity works or gas equipment, with installation from Eesti Energia. In such a case:

  • Fill in on the electricity works or gas equipment maintenance and installation page, the required fields, in the window for presenting orders;
  • On the order form, mark the appropriate field that you also want an offer for instalment payment;
  • The offer for electricity or gas works will include an offer for instalment payments;
  • You can sign the instalment payment agreement precisely for the amount for which you require. You can also make the down payment, if desired.
  • If you have already received an offer for electricity or gas works and want to use instalment payments then fill in the application for instalment payments for electricity works or the application for instalment payments for gas equipment and works.

    When ordering an electric car charger, you can ask for an offer for lease-purchase. In this case:

  • Use the electric car charger selection assistant on the Enefit Volt website to select the right charger, and place your order;
  • When choosing a payment method, indicate that you want to pay in installments;
  • You can enter into a lease-purchase contract for the exact amount you need. If you wish, you can make an initial deposit.
  • NB! In order to use lease-purchas it is necessary that you fill in the lease-purchase application for an electric car charging solution.

    If you order a heat pump from Eesti Energia, you can also ask for an offer for payment by installments. In this case:

  • Check out the selection of heat pumps that suit you on the heat pumps page;
  • In order to receive a personal offer, submit a request via the "Ask for an quote" form by filling in the required fields;
  • To receive a lease-purchase offer, mark on the same form that you would also like to receive an installment offer by checking the corresponding box;
  • Together with the heat pumps offer, we will also send you a lease-purchase offer;
  • You can enter into a lease-purchase contract for the exact amount you need. If you wish, you can make an initial deposit.
  • Asking for an offer does not oblige you to use this payment method.

    If you have already received an offer for heat pumps and want to pay in installments, fill in the lease-purchase application for heat pumps.

    Carefully consider if leasing is a suitable choice, given your needs and financial situation.

  • Thoroughly acquaint yourself with the contract conditions before signing the agreement and ask our client services, if you desire further information;
  • Think it through, how big of a risk can you afford yourself. The creation of payment irregularities may in the future cause difficulties in getting a new leasing or loan contract;
  • Review the terms once again after you have signed the agreement. You can thus be sure that you fulfil your obligations in the right way and at the right time.
  • The contractual demand will be transferred to AS Inbank, after the agreement is signed. Inbank will start sending you invoices for the instalments.

    Please contact Inbank client services concerning info about the instalment agreement and the instalments:

  • Inbank client services details can be found on the Inbank website. Your calls and messages will be answered Monday to Friday from 9.00 until 17.00.
  • The deadline for payment of instalments is the 12th of each month. Inbank will send to your home online bank an e-invoice, for the payment of instalments.

    Fill in a form in your online bank for ordering an e-invoice, if the e-invoice does not reach you. If you would like to make the monthly payments personally, use the Inbank account number and reference number for that, which you will find in your leasing contract.

    We will send you a reminder message, if you have not paid the instalment by the due date. Be aware that there are costs involved with delayed payments and arrears interest will be applied to overdue payments. The charges for overdue payments can be found in your leasing contract and from the Inbank price list. Please certainly turn towards Inbank, if you encounter difficulties in fulfilling your obligations, as we can then jointly find a flexible solution and you have the possibility to avoid additional charges, as well as court cases.

    You can pay your leasing in part or fully prematurely and then you do not need to pay interest or other charges for the period in which you left the loan unused. You can do this by presenting Inbank client services an application of intent marking the returnable amount and date. We will thereafter forward the final amount you still have to pay.

    Please turn directly towards Inbank to prematurely terminate the leasing.

    Insurance

    Electrical equipment insurance Standard

    Equal package includes insurance for failures caused to your home's electrical appliances due to sudden and unforeseen external circumstances (such as thunderstorms, short circuits, overloads, over- or undervoltage) to the extent of 1 000 euros. The deductible in the case of an event is 50 euros.

    In the case of an insurance event request a review and assessment of the equipment from an electrical equipment specialist. The report, which states the reason for the damage, the cost of repairs and the market value of the equipment before the damage is basis for the claim settlement.

    Electrical fault insurance

    If the electrical system in your home is damaged and requires repair (e.g. power lost from one room or floor, socket or wiring no longer works due to excessive voltage, etc) you can get help from the electrical fault insurance.

    If the electrical system is damaged in your home, order an electrician from the Eesti Energia e-service insurance subpage or contact our customer service by phone 777 1545 or teenindus@energia.ee.

    The electrical fault insurance included in the Equal package covers up to 100 euros from the invoice of the visit of the Eesti Energia electrician. Your deductible for the insurance is 0 euros.

    Electrical equipment insurance helps to compensate for the sudden and unexpected failure of electrical equipment due to external factors (e.g. lightning, short circuit, overload, over- or undervoltage). The equipment is protected for a total amount of 2 000 euros. The insurance additionally covers the costs of determining the fault and the electrician's site visit to the value of 200 euros, as well as the costs associated with repairing the home electrical installation (cables, plugs, fuses, electric cabinets, junction boxes, etc.).

    The insurance of electrical equipment offers a number of additional benefits, if you have already insured your place of residence:
  • Low deductible (50 euros);
  • All smart devices and computers up to two years old, are compensated for at their new acquisition prices, if their repair is not possible;
  • You can also conveniently insure the electrical appliances in your cottage or summerhouse.
  • The invoice is paid together with the invoice for electricity or gas;
  • The number of insured events per year is unlimited.
  • In the case of an insurance event request a review and assessment of the equipment from an electrical equipment specialist. The report, which states the reason for the damage, the cost of repairs and the market value of the equipment before the damage is basis for the claim settlement.

    The electrical fault insurance is helpful if the electrical system in your home is damaged and requires repair (e.g. power lost from one room or floor, socket or wiring no longer works due to excessive voltage, etc.).

    The electrical fault insurance covers up to 200 euros from the invoice of the site visit of the Eesti Energia electrician. Your deductible for the insurance is 0 euros.

    The insurance is linked to your valid electricity or gas contract, so if you terminate your energy contract with Eesti Energia, the insurance cover will also automatically be terminated. To change or terminate the insurance package, contact our customer service at 777 1545.

    Fire insurance will give you a monetary benefit to the value of 10 000 euros, to the extent of the restoration costs of your damaged place of residence, if as a result of a fire there has been damage to:
  • the main structures of your home (walls, floors, stairs, roof);
  • interior finishing, built-in furniture, sanitary installations;
  • heating and gas equipment;
  • electrical system or built-in surveillance, communication and sound system;
  • furnace or fireplace.
  • If you have already insured your place of residence, then the fire insurance offers a number of additional benefits:
  • Reasonable medical costs for you and your family members, if as a result of the fire a health problem has occurred, the treatment of which is not compensated for by the usual health insurance;
  • Income for up to 60 days, if the fire has caused you or your family members health damages that result in an incapacity for work;
  • Claims by third parties against you, which arise from the legal liability related to the taking place of the fire;
  • The rental costs for up to four months, for up to 500 euros per month, if your home has become uninhabitable.
  • We compensate the deductible part of the home insurance.
  • The compensation payment is quick. A payment of up to 2000 euros will be made within three work days, if the damage caused by the fire exceeds 2000 euros.

    The following requirements must be followed, so that we can pay the necessary compensation quickly:
  • In the case of a fire inform emergency services immediately and act according to the instructions received from them.
  • The fire that broke out must be on record with the Rescue Board - even in the case when the fire brigade is not required on site and you are capable of extinguishing the fire with your own forces.
  • Inform us of the fire as soon as possible.
  • You can submit a loss notice using the web form on our website or by calling 777 1545.
  • When sending out a loss notice, add as much information as possible about the event and also photographs of the affected objects.
  • The insurance is linked to your valid electricity or gas contract, so if you terminate your energy contract with Eesti Energia, the insurance cover will also automatically be terminated. Contact our client services, to change or terminate the insurance package, by telephone 777 1545.

    The insurance cover will take effect as soon as you have submitted the order for the insurance package. The insurance cover is for an indefinite period and ends if you notify us of your wish to terminate or if you terminate your Eesti Energia electricity or gas contract. To change or terminate the insurance package, contact our customer service at 777 1545.

    Your electricity or gas contract and insurance are linked. Insurance can only be ordered by customers with Eesti Energia's electricity and gas contract. Therefore, if you want to change the energy provider, the insurance cover offered by Eesti Energia also ends.

    The insurance certificate will be sent personally to your e-mail address when ordering insurance. If you would like us to resend the certificate to you, please notify our customer service.
